What does Battleping do?

We provide a connection to our servers which then connects you to your game.
It can provide faster or more stable routing options. The result is a lower latency and so a more enjoyable and rewarding game experience.

Who are we?

Will this reduce ping for everyone?

No it won't.
If your connection is already stable and has an optimal route to the Game servers you are playing on there is not much we can do to improve the connection.

What connections will see best results?

We can help reduce ping time and help to reduce ping spikes, freezes or disconnects for users who have sub-optimal routing, routing problems or peering issues.
It may also help users who are been shaped on specific game traffic or ports.

What sort of problems won't it help?

It won't help some issues which are out of our control. For example, A line problem occcuring between your house and your ISP or local exchange.

Which type of connections may have problems?

Dial-up or Satelite connections may work slowly.
Users who are connecting from restricted networks, such as Uni/ School / Hotel or work connections depending on the restrictions that the network has in place.

What Battleping servers are best for me?

For most users: Using a Battleping server which is located close to the Game-server you are playing on will give you the best results.
However some users may find that using a server which is located between them and the Game server can be better. This depends on your current routing and is something you would have to test for yourself.
As an example: A player living in Australia may connect to a West-Coast server when playing World of Tanks which is physically hosted on the East-Coast.
