Trying to play Tera Online but most of the time I can't get in.
Is there some type of error log?

1/20 try on Launch, I get in. The rest of the 9 tries, I would fail and it would just take me to server selection, and that's it.

I've tried switching channels (which works once in a blue moon), switching connection 1/2 - no dice.

I just did some testing with Chicago 4 that you selected in the video, selecting the server was working fine here.

When did your issue start?
Are you running any addons like dps meters?

I've had this problem 2 weeks ago. Then 3 days ago I tried the trial version, and it worked perfectly. Purchased a 90day sub, logged in, no dice. Took me couple of tries.

It's not just chicago server, westcoast, central and such.
It seems it's just a roll of luck to just keep trying out all the servers.

I'm based in hawaii.

Does it open first time if you connect without Battleping?

If you do try connection 2, click "game connection" after you swap so it reconnects.

But yes the behaviour is not normal, it should not work only sometimes.

Are you running addons like DPS meters, sometimes a setting must be changed for them to work.

Did you change the driver option under connection -> Advanced ?
You could try opening Battleping/Tera once with your AV/Firewall application dissabled to make sure no issue happend there.

Yes, it opens good without battleping.
No driver changes
Tried connection 2, no dice.
I don't run DPS meter, I've tried turning off firewall and AV, still none.

I am realizing a pattern. The connections i've used before are the ones I have trouble connecting back to. I pick a new one and I can connect, or so it seems.
I'm going to keep testing this as I go. Now connected with Westcoast 11, but ping is in 2k...

OMG! After like 2 weeks of not using, and finally using another vpn like WTFast, I finally figured it out!

For Asus users that has ROG GameFirst III Services, it seems that this messes with VPN. Causing to either give you SUPER high ping rather than help you when using VPN. In Battleping's case, it won't let me connect to servers -- WTFast would just make my ping worst from 140 to about 1k-3k ping.

I've Uninstalled this service and I haven't had a problem since. This could be a solution for those using any ASUS.
